The Brainu.org web site offers lesson plans about the Brain aligned with the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS)  —  Activities, Experiments, Simulations and Video content for K through 12 classrooms.  All lesson plans feature active learning strategies to promote higher order thinking and analysis.  Experiments provide open-ended and guided inquiry.  Each lesson features free downloads including a teacher guide and supplemental materials such as student guide, handouts, videos, etc.
