The ZOOMS STEM Design Challengepresented by Flint Hills offers students a chance to use the engineering designprocess to develop a solution to a ‘real’ problem faced by zookeepers and staffat the Minnesota Zoo. From designing an animal enrichment to renovating azoo exhibit, the problem will challenge students to use STEM skills to solvethe problem and present a solution. ZOOMS teachers also receive access to digital resources and support throughout the school year from Zoo staff, along with access to a free teacher training in the fall. Selected student teams will be invited to showcasetheir solutions at the ZOOMS Exhibition either virtually or in person at theMinnesota Zoo!
