A Day In The Life of a golf course superintendent field trip opportunity.  From sunrise to sunset golf course managers use all of the STEM practicum to enhance the environment, manage a large green space, operate equipment, calibrate application tools, conserve water and provide recreational playing conditions.  From aquatics to equipment operation to irrigation efficiency, turf managers literally “do it all”.  The Golf Course Superintendents Association of America has created a solid template being used across the country to further STEM education in a fun, exciting and informative atmosphere.  The Minnesota Chapter wishes to offer local courses across the state these opportunities and hope to include Watershed and Conservation Districts as partners in education.
