On Saturday, November 14th, 2020, Code Savvy’s Educator Training Program is excited to host the MNCodes Virtual Summit (http://www.mncodessummit.org/) with the theme of “Networking to Expand Computer Science Education”. With a virtual summit, distance is no longer a barrier to participation! We welcome educators from all over to join us for a day of virtual sessions that explore ways to expand equitable and engaging computer science learning opportunities to all students, with a focus on integrating computer science and computational thinking into a variety of K-12 curricular areas and learning formats!
The MNCodes Virtual Summit Date – November 14th, 2020, 9am – 3pm
We welcome proposals for interactive sessions, discussions and labs (50 minutes) as well as shorter, pre-recorded poster sessions (10 min, max). We ask that all sessions include info or ideas about virtual and/or socially distanced application of session ideas with students. Feel free to email andrea@codesavvy.org with any questions about the different kinds of sessions.
Proposals will be evaluated based on their relationship to the Summit’s theme of “Networking to Expand Computer Science Education” and how they may contribute to a relevant, well-rounded experience for attendees.
