As executive Director of the MGCSA I provide support to the community through promoting the golf industry as a community's largest rain garden providing pollinator habitat, wildlife corridors, carbon sequestration, oxygen generation and a great destination for educational field trips. I also teach environmental Best Management Programs for my local watershed and the MPCA pertaining to a healthy watershed. The MGCSA is very interested in providing host sites for STEM education and golf courses encompass all aspects of dedicated program.

It is my intent to facilitate partnerships between schools and local golf courses to provide a "living" laboratory and field trip destination. The golf industry uses a tremendous amount of STEM theory each and every day.
