Bio
After over 20 years teaching and curriculum coordination in public schools, Dr. Paulson joined the Biology department at Bethel University to coordinate the K-12 science education and STEM programs. She teaches Life Science Concepts, Applied STEM Concepts, Elementary, Middle and High School Science Methods, and Curriculum and Instruction in Higher Education. She has served as a consultant with school districts developing curriculum and has presented inquiry based lessons in many classrooms. She leads the GEMS (Girls in Engineering, Math and Science) at Bethel University and has led 16 Saturdays for Science in the Frogtown Neighborhood of St. Paul under a 3M grant. She is available to work with students or teachers on STEM process skills.
