Volunteers are needed to help with Leave No Trace Outdoor Ethics outreach, especially in and around the Twin Cities. Leave No Trace is an educational non-profit organization that teaches people of all ages how to enjoy the outdoors responsibly.

(Please visit www.lnt.org for more info about the organization and the scientific research it does.)

Volunteers are needed to help staff interactive information booths at special events like the Midwest Mountaineering Outdoor Adventure Expos, National Get Outdoors Day activities, National Public Lands Day and a variety of other endeavors.

Audiences could be as few as 10-20 or as many as 5,000, depending on the event. Volunteers need to have a basic understanding of LNT and the impact of human recreation on our natural resources.

Training and all supplies will be provided. Everyone is encouraged to visit the link below and like our Facebook page.

Potential volunteers please contact Rita Hussman, The LNT State Advocate at mnadvocate@lnt.org.
