The Playful Learning Lab ( is scheduling free  “Educator Playdates” for the coming school year on the third Tuesday of each month.  Each session will include a hands-on project led by Playful Learning Lab students, as well as ample time for discussion. We will also have a Show and Tell and we invite you to email us if you have something you’d like to share! 

Who is hosting? The UST Playful Learning Lab ( and the UST Center for Engineering Education (

Who is invited? Formal and informal educators of all sorts. Care about play and its role in learning? Then you are invited!

What should I bring? Your curiosity! If you have a fun new tool, toy or lesson that you’d like to show others, please bring it for Show and Tell!

Where? The STELAR (St. Thomas E-Learning and Research) Center in the O’Shaughnessy-Frey library on the St. Paul campus. (Map )
